MAGICAL DAYS:
OUR SHEDULE & ADVENTURES
In Spring 2023 I became so passionate about royalcore that I NEEDED to have my own fantasy world come to live (and a film!). So I set everything in motion and together we rented a tiny castle in Saxony (Germany) for an entire day to host an unforgettable fantasy ball, complete with epic photo and video shoots!

FRIDAY
At Friday, we all arrived by car, and after the excitement calmed down a bit, we set up the whole LIVING ROOM in our airbnb to be a dressing and changing room. Many amazing new people met and it was an instant connection because we knew we shared the same love!
My favorite dress & gown maker Lexy Beutz , Vinterkyla and Monschik provided us with gorgeous gowns to wear and dress up in and LOOK at all those crowns!
In the evening we had a meal, gathered to plan, chat and meet in a circle, planning all things and getting in the mood, just a bunch of really excited nerdies to start the adventure! Later we all met in the garden of our airbnb again to exercise dancing and basic sword fight moves and getting in the mood for our adventure, with fantastic Lou guiding us to make an easy to do but wonderful to look at choreography happen! EXCITING!

SATURDAY
The following day we got up early to dress and get ready, braiding hair and fixing our gowns, it was a buzzling and hustling, before we got in our cars to drive over to the most fantastical little castle in the heart of Saxony! We got to spend a full day there, first having 1 on 1 sessions with photographers and already filming a few sequences for my fantasy film (sword fighting at the castle bridge!), and it were many gorgeous photos that we all created!
In the afternoon we started a quick rehearsal in the ball room and shot the ball scene within the next 4 hours with magical dancing, a crazy king throwing wine glasses and knights stepping in to mess up the party! It was a super productive, intense and exciting day and at 18:00 we were leaving the castle, super tired but so thrilled for what we created!
The evening was filled with sharing meals (cooking pasta and everybody eating what they brought, sharing and caring), having deep talks and even playing some group games in the living room for those who wanted a lil fun activity at night.
⚔️
SUNDAY
The next day we set off to a cloister ruin in Meissen to end the day with a picnic in the summer sun and a photo shoot, creating even more stunning, beautiful images with beautiful gowns, props and switching between taking pictures, modeling, filming some short clips and relaxing in the shadow with our fellow nerdies! It was wonderful to just soak up the atmosphere of being together, as a big nerdy family enjoying what we love.
At dawn it was finally time to say goodbye, it was intense and my calling to know:
⚔️ I WILL HOST THINGS LIKE THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN. ⚔️
It is one of the most beautiful memories I have ever made, honestly. And the reason why I keep doing what I do.
A journey worth sharing: Suna's ✨testimonial✨
When I was invited by Christina Hartmill to join her “Kings and Queens” retreat at a beautiful castle, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. After ten years in a toxic marriage that ultimately ended in betrayal, I was broken—emotionally and financially. I had lost my sense of self, but Christina saw something in me and extended a hand. She asked, “Do you want to join our event? I would love to have you by my side and be part of this new thing I want to create.”
Without hesitation, I said yes. It wasn’t a decision I made with my head but with my heart. I didn’t know what to expect, but the thought of feeling like a queen for a day gave me hope.
I arrived at the retreat with nothing more than a simple summer dress, feeling out of place among the other attendees with their crowns, elegant costumes, and jewelry. But they had a beautiful dress waiting for me, and it fit perfectly. The moment I stepped into it, something inside me shifted... a new world began to open. I felt royal, strong, independend. Like I can rule over bad things.
The castle itself was magical, with its historic rooms, oh the atmoshere... which I appreciated deeply as a room designer. We were free to explore, take photos, and immerse ourselves in the enchanting atmosphere. We did 1 on 1 photo sessions, so I got some fantastic pictures of me in a dreamy dress! Every moment felt special... and oh the ballroom dancing! what fun!
Christina, with her extraordinary talent as a director and videographer, captured everything beautifully. When I returned home, I realized that she had created not just a film, but a timeless memory—one that celebrated each of us as the stars of our own lives. I kept thinking about it many weeks later, a core memory!! It was so much more than an event. It was a reminder that we can create our own stories, embrace our strengths, and rise above life’s hardships.... It was a celebration of creativity, and grace in a world often dominated by harshness and chaos!
For anyone who has a heart, a dream, and a desire to create a better life, I wholeheartedly recommend this retreat. It’s an opportunity to connect with others, embrace your inner strength, and rediscover the beauty of life. Christina’s work is transformative, and I am proud to be part of her vision—a vision of connection, and empowerment. Womanhood. Sisterhood!
